Alana De La Garza's beauty has made an impression on small screens. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing the career of an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved to Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities such as local independent films and international commercials. Despite having small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for performing. She relocated from the Midwest to New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap opera All My Children. Through the first half of the 2000s she was seen in tiny roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived series The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some amazing TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. The most memorable part of her career was in 2006's Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. The year 2008 was the time she was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performance in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko as the husband of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was on the character Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly darker drama Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory and is Italian from a family of Italian origin. She grew up in an environment that was strict and deeply religious. Milano was only seven years old old when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. Four girls selected among over a thousand potential candidates were Milano. Milano was featured in commercials for TV as well as off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical from Jane Eyre.
